Gobstopper Experience Writing

Gobstopper Experience Writing
I was a bit confused when my literacy teacher Miss (Cara) Mcleod told us we had to try a gobstopper. When I got my hands on a gobstopper the feeling was neutral because it was quite a sight but I didn’t know what to expect.

It smelt like two things a) flowers and b) blueberry. It felt as solid as concrete. It was a bit of a Aqua colour. Then I realized it was somewhere between cyan and turquoise blue. It looked like an aura sphere because of its round, 3d shape.  It was as small as a mouse standing on cheese. It was as gravitational as a human because when it went up in the air it came tumbling back down.

Then it was time to taste it. Then and there I was as paranoid as a hippie. I felt like I was going to lose all my teeth. When I put it in my mouth It wasn’t so bad tasting. It tasted like a blueberry fresh and just grown. The more it was in my mouth the more it got smaller and changed colour until it was microscopic. Then I finally could bite it. It had lots of multi-flavoured backwash.

I loved tasting it because it was delicious and had great flavour, colour and texture and was really enjoyable.

Mintie experience writing

We are working on describing experiences. One of these experiences is tasting minties. This is my experience writing. Hope you enjoy it!

I was really, really, really dreading the fact that we had to taste horrid and ghastly minties. I did not enjoy the wait. But my taste buds are changing so maybe I’ll like it. But that remained in question.

When I got my hands on a mintie I did not know what to expect from it. I saw people having bad times. I thought what is that all about. I saw uneven lines and patterns. I could smell chocolate mints. Also it smelt like sweet bubblegum. I felt hard cobblestone with a protective layer of cold fur. It felt like a suction cup and I could see that on the sides to. It was quite normal for a wrapper of a unmatched lollie.

When I opened the wrapper it sounded like popping popcorn. I could see the shape was a rectangular prism. It looked like a block of ice. The scent of it smelt like fresh poison ivy. Smelt a little like mango. It felt like cobblestone just retrieved from a mine. It was as hard and cold as clay.

Then we tasted it. The more it moved round my mouth the more it evaporated. It had a tropical aftertaste which added a flavoured vibe. It felt like edible stone. In a way it was like getting my teeth flossed. The more I ate it the more softer and tastier It got. It  sounded like chewing pancakes and bacon at the same time. It was like bubblegum. When we finished I had a little mint in my breath.

The minties were delicious. It was like tasting a chocolate mint milkshake. I loved tasting them because I really enjoyed tasting its delicious flavour!

Sun, Land and Ocean

We are learning to smudge crayons and pastels in our art. We looked at three different elements for our art sky, land and ocean. First we picked those three elements out of three pictures and if we liked the way that element looked we picked it and drew it in pencil. Then we went over the lines in vivid. Finally we coloured it in and finished it. I liked doing this art work. Here is my art that I did!
