Calendar Art 2016

This year in 2016 we did calendar art again. We had 5 options to choose from. The options were painting something in the sky, living statues, cut out tassels, circles and wings. I chose painting something in the sky. The process was simple. We got a bunch of paint brushes, taking a photo, make it black and white, colour it with crayons for your design and finally paint your design. I made a rainbow with a sun. It looks amazing. Big Friendly Giant drawing competition

This week we had a competition to draw the BFG. BFG stands for the Big Friendly Giant. The book was originally a book made by roald dahl, Then made into a movie. If our drawing was good enough they would send it in and the best drawing would win a BFG themed party for their class. It closes on July 31st. We had a video guide to help us in our drawing. Then we got feed back and went to improve it. This is my finished drawing. Enjoy!

Sun, Land and Ocean

We are learning to smudge crayons and pastels in our art. We looked at three different elements for our art sky, land and ocean. First we picked those three elements out of three pictures and if we liked the way that element looked we picked it and drew it in pencil. Then we went over the lines in vivid. Finally we coloured it in and finished it. I liked doing this art work. Here is my art that I did!
