Our Trip To Spencer Park

We writ a recount on our school trip to Spencer Park. Here is my recount!

On Friday the 26th of February the Senior Syndicate went to Spencer park for a school trip to get together and have fun. We did the roll and then went out onto the bus to travel to spencer park. I sat at the back of the bus.

The Senior Syndicate got there and went into two big, long lines and went to the meeting point. Our meeting point was next to a big tree. We talked about safety and where everything was. Then the teachers let us start eating. The breeze was cold and chilling but nice as we ate. Once we had finished eating the teachers let us go and play.

I went to play and started with playing on the spider-web. The spider web was big and tall and very very high. Instead of it being made out of silk it was made of big, strong, thick red ropes. The ropes made a bridge to another rope tower which was like the Eiffel Tower. But I didn't want to stay on to long because I would have to much fun and play on that for the whole time.

I ended up playing a game with Nathan, Ryus and Ollie. We played hide and go seek tag. The rules are simple. You count to twenty and then try and find someone and tag them. Once you tag them they become a spy in your team. Once everyone is in the first person you tagged will count to twenty.

After that we went to walk to the beach to do group activities. The first activity we had to dig a hole and Mrs McGuinniety ( Mrs McGuinniety is one of the Senior Syndicate teachers) would stand in it and the deepest hole would win the activity. But to me there are no winners or losers. I got into a group with Dom, Ryan, Rykin, Ella and Kasey. We made the the hole of problems( We called it the whole of problems because everybody keep falling in) and it was to short and we had to keep making it wider. Eventually the winner hole was announced (The true winners were everybody).

Then we had to make a hero in the sand. This time I went in a group with Phoebe, Hayley, Alesha and Emily.V. We decided we would make Mrs Seacloud the queen of the sea.She was made out of sea materials and was by the sea( Mrs Seacloud was inspired by Mrs Mcleod another teacher in the senior syndicate). We made her 3D by making her out of sand, seaweed, seashells and sticks. Mrs Mcleod loved it and so did the other teachers.Mrs Raisin took photos of all the heroes.

after that we went back to Spencer park. We had lunch and then the teachers let us go play.I played hide and go seek tag again.Then I went back to the spider-web to improve my climbing skills. I got to the top. At the top it was windy, Shaky and high. Then we got called to go back to school.We left Spencer park to go back to school.It was a nice singing joyride.

I really enjoyed the school trip to Spencer Park because there was lots of teamwork and co-operation and it was fun and made me so happy and there was lots of bounding with students and teachers and I can't wait to go back there!!
