Glossary of World War 1

We have been learning about World War 1. We had to do a lot of activities. The activities were sorted by way group you were in. for our last activity we had to find out what some words that are war related mean. Here is my glossary on those words we had to find out.

commemoration= Remembrance of someone who died

Honour= Regard with great respect

British empire= Castle with rules from the united kingdom

Cenotaph= tomb like monument buried

armistice= an agreement made by both sides of a war

veteran= person with lots of experience but not a expert

Chocolate Experience Writing

We writ about feeling, seeing, smelling and tasting chocolate and then writing about it. We had different attempts doing it and keep editing till we had five attempts. Here is my 1st and 5th attempt! I enjoyed tasting this and expressing my feeling and senses about it. I learn't how to make each attempt better and take lot's of time on things!


Attempt 1: I was so excited to have chocolate. I was so excited that I started salivating. When the chocolate was handed out I felt like a true winner. When I felt It I could feel hard, solid rocks and the chocolate grease. I saw brown goo and dots with the chocolate segment. I saw square dog poop ew and carved on top the word cadbury. It smelt like oily melons and sticky water with chocolate milk and flower pollen mist. Chocolate cake with brown honey on top. When it was in my mouth I tasted gooey oil and sticky goo with sloopy water mixed with icky ice and grated on top melting cheese and believe me it was melting. It was vibrating with my lips. It was starting to crack making the taste of flower water. It was chilling me. It tasted like it was also rinsed with coffee liquid. I was feeling like it was giving me superpowers and omega ability. It was so good. I loved how it tasted and was so refreshing.\

Attempt 5:

I was so excited to have cold and tasty chocolate. I was so excited that I started salivating. When the chocolate was handed out I felt like a true winner in heaven. When I felt It I could feel hard, solid unbreakable rocks and the chocolate grease. It felt like the diamond ore. I saw chestnut goo and hazel dots with the chocolate segment. I saw square, bronze dog poop ew and carved on top the word cadbury. It smelt like oily melons and sticky water with chocolate milk and flower pollen mist. It smelt like mother nature in the neon sun. It also smelt like Chocolate cake with brown honey on top. When it was in my mouth I tasted gooey oil and sticky goo with sloopy water mixed with icky ice and grated on top melting cheese and believe me it was melting because it was so scorching hot and it had overheated because it was in there so long. It was vibrating with my ruby lips. It was starting to crack making the taste of flower water. It was chilling me. It tasted like it was also rinsed with coffee liquid. It had a real kick to it. It was so awesome. It felt like iced chocolate. I felt like I was a guardian of a superpower. I was feeling like it was giving me superpowers. I couldn’t get enough of the energy and delicious flavour. It was so spectacular. I loved how it tasted and was so refreshing. I loved it. I loved tasting chocolate because it is so good!

attempt 1 Autumn is a season.In Autumn the wind turns into a Autumn breeze as Winter starts to come closer. The leafs start to change colour because of the wind and they start to die. The water starts to have heavy waves. Lots of people get colds and go see others and they get cold colds to. The sun comes up late because we have longer nights. The butterflies fly north because it is cold. People stay inside more and wear jerseys and jackets. There starts to be Ice because it is almost Winter and Autumn is a cold season.Most animals start to hibernate.  Most people don’t do what they do in summer and spring when it is Autumn.

attempt 2 Autumn is a cold,chilling and colorful season. In Autumn the winds turns into a cold, chilling and cool Autumn breeze because every day Winter is closer. The leaves change color to orange,brown,red and gold leaves because the leaves start to die and the wind migrated from the other side of the world has came here. The water starts to glisten and glitter and turns into strong, heavy and bright blue waves which send a chill up my spine. Lots of people get sicking and unwanting colds and when they go to see others that get infected with that same cold. The bright scorching beautiful sun in the colorful and beautiful sunrise comes up later because of daylight savings making longer, Dark abyssed, black hole and cursed nights longer creating lovely,colorful and bright days shorter. The wonderful birds and beautiful butterflies migrate  port because the chilling cold weather is coming and the beautiful warm is in the northern hemisphere. lots of people stay in their warming and loved house to stay warm and wear warm jackets and overheated jerseys to stay cosy warm. There starts to be freezing, chilling, frozen and spine freezing ice starts to come because frozen winter is coming to us and Autumn is a cold season. Most amazing animals start to hibernate because the food is scarce it is very frosty and can’t handle the cold. Lots of lovely humans don’t do what wonderful and cool things they do in Summer and Spring in frosty,freezing,breezy cold Autumn!

In Autumn the winds turns into a cold, chilling and cool Autumn breeze because every day Winter is closer.
